Dear fellow white folk
I went down the rabbit hole of the SAG Awards internet commentary and it’s truly horrifying. Because when it comes to Hollywood or politics or basically any positions of public power, a lot of my fellow white folk are saying about the same thing. “Oh boo hoo, that’s prejudice against white people."
Seriously? I mean SERIOUSLY? Like the systemic (AND ON-GOING) abuse of people of color for hundreds of years is no big deal, but your white Christian God forbid a handful of talented and deserving black actors/actresses are rewarded for their hard work…
I assume you’re living in a bubble of denial and don’t hear your own nonsense, so do the world a favor and just shut the fuck up. Or whisper quietly to yourself if you absolutely must. Find some perspective, fellow white folk, or get lost.
Please & Thanks
